Wisconsin Premeire!

Trampoline will have its Wisconsin Premeire at the Driftless Film Fest October 7th! 

The DFF is based in Baraboo and 4 towns in central Wisconsin. It is the brainchild of Nicholas Langholff to bring independent cinema to this part of the state. They are showing 67 films. Trampoline will play twice, once on Friday 10/7 at 9:15pm in Baraboo and on Saturaday 10/8 in Mineral Point. You can buy Tickets online as of September 29th, here is the link: Driftless Film Fest. First 30 at Studio 145.

Come down and see the first 30' of Trampoline at Mark Wojahn's Art Studio on Nov. 19th at 3pm.

This is part of the Casket Art Building's huge fall Art Crawl, tons of Artists will be selling their wares.

Fresh from it's World Premiere at the San Francisco's Docfest in October, Mark Wojahn's new documentary, Trampoline, will have its Midwest & Minnesota Premiere at the classic Heights Theater at 7:30pm, in two weeks on November 17th.
 
A comment from the audience in San Francisco,

"Trampoline is what you imagine it would have been like if they filmed the Replacements when it all began. A Minneapolis youth culture classic. I was pulling for these kids."

The documentary has a great Minnesota soundtrack from the bands; the Red Pens, Aby Wolf, Mystery Palace, M.anifest and Solid Gold. It's wonderful sound score was composed by the Minneapolis Ashe & Spencer's, Richard Werbowenko.

The film has already been receiving Spirit Award votes for the Chaz and Roger Ebert Truer than Fiction Award.

WORLD PREMIERE at SF DOCFEST 2010

TRAMPOLINE will have its world premiere in San Francisco at their documentary film fest in October 15-28, 2010. It will screen twice, first on October 23rd, 7:15pm and also on Tuesday, Oct 26th at 9:30pm. Pre-sale tickets are available at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/producerevent/131422?prod_id=11208 or by calling at 1-800-838-3006. There will be a Q&A after the film with director Mark Wojahn and a member of the cast tbd.

Please buy tickets in advance as the films with the larger pre-sales are moved to the bigger screening room.  It will be 1 of about 50 documentaries that will be part of the festival. The Roxie is located in the mission district on 16th Ave.

Programmer Fay Dearborn said this about Trampoline, "Thank you so much for sending us your film "Trampoline," which we would be thrilled to screen as part of our San Francisco DocFest. I loved the very personal, dramatic quality of the film and I think it would be very well-received here in SF by our audiences. "

Sneak Preview at the MSPIFF!

On MONDAY, APRIL 26TH, 7PM there will be the first public showing of Trampoline at the Minneapolis St.Paul Intl. Film Fest. The festival is at the St. Anthony Main Theater on the riverbank of the Mississippi river. There will be a Q & A after the film with the director, crew. We hope you can make it.
